Just Get Certified!

The Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation recently published some attention-grabbing statistics:

  1. There are more than 356,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests (OHCA) annually in the U.S., nearly 90% of them fatal.

  2. 73.9% of OHCA in adults are in a home, 15.1% are in a public setting and 10.9% are in a nursing home.

  3. 87.5% of OHCA in children are in a home and 12.2% are in a public place.

If this does not convince you to learn CPR, I do not know what will.

In 60 to 90 minutes you can learn (and get a 2 year certification) a life-saving skill.
