CPR/AED (Adult, Child, Infant) & First Aid Certification Class* 

 

This class includes the entire CPR/AED course (above) and adds First Aid and meets the requirements of OSHA First Aid Standard 29 CFR 1910.151, Texas Administrative Code §746.1315, and Rule §749.911. Topics including bleeding, tourniquet use, open wounds, burns, shock, abdominal injuries, head (concussion), neck and back injuries, EpiPen use, asthma, allergies, bee stings, spider and snake bites, heat/cold injuries and more! This includes Stop the Bleed®.

BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association*

 

At Rockwall CPR, our instructors are certified American Heart Association BLS Instructors. The AHA’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.

 

Certification Period: 2 Years

  • The AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components

CPR, AED, First Aid Instructor Development Course

 

The CPR, AED & First Aid Instructor Development Course by HSI (Health & Safety Institute) is comprised of a 4 - 8 hour online cognitive training segment followed by a 4 - 6 hour, in-person, Instructor-led course right here in Rowlett and Rockwall. Once you complete the course you will be able to certify individuals in CPR, AED and/or First Aid. Additional courses, such as BLS can be added on as well.

*Cancellations/Refunds

  • If you cancel at least 48 hours before class, your payment may be applied to a future class or refunded. Credit card returns: Any fees incurred (transaction fees) by Rockwall CPR will be subtracted from your refund.

  • If you cancel LESS THAN 48 hours before class, your payment may be applied to a future class or refunded. If you request a refund, you will receive the amount you paid MINUS a $25.00 cancellation fee. No additional fees will apply if you reschedule your class.

  • If you cancel LESS THAN 24 hours before class or do not attend class (no show), your full payment is non-refundable. 

  • THERE ARE NO REFUNDS AFTER YOU COMPLETE A CLASS. 

  • My "One Strike" Rule: If you have a valid reason for your no-show and re-register for a future class, I will apply your payment to that class. Please contact me within 24 hours after the scheduled class about the no-show. If I do not hear from you within 24 hours after the scheduled class, your payment will be non-refundable. If you choose to register for a new class, you must pay for that class in full.

  • PRIVATE CLASS REFUND POLICY: In order to schedule a private class, full payment is required upon scheduling the class. There are no refunds for private classes after they are scheduled and paid.
